About SafeStand®

SafeStand® was developed from real site experience, designed by builders for builders, as a smarter alternative to outdated trestle and “bandstand” systems that no longer meet modern construction or Working at Height requirements. Traditional scaffolding can add cost and slow programmes. SafeStand® cuts through that. It’s a fully integrated low-level access system that delivers safe, compliant, continuous working platforms from day one—without delays or unnecessary complexity.

Simple To Use

SafeStand® is designed to be straightforward on site. Modular components allow platforms of any length to be assembled quickly using standard scaffold board sizes. No specialist tools, no complex setup—just a system that works the way operatives expect it to.

With platform heights ranging from 500mm to 2210mm, SafeStand® enables safe construction of walls up to 4 metres, while maintaining full edge protection and stability throughout.

Each stand delivers a safe working load of up to 1000kg, providing a robust and reliable working platform for both operatives and materials.

Quick & Easy

Speed of erection means work starts sooner and continues without interruption. A typical 12 metre run can be erected in approximately 15 minutes, allowing teams to establish a safe working platform quickly and maintain momentum on site.

Originally developed for brickwork, SafeStand® is now widely used across multiple trades, including M&E, finishing, and fit-out, due to its flexibility and ease of use. By providing continuous access, SafeStand® removes the need to wait on other trades, helping improve workflow, reduce downtime, and keep projects on programme.

Safe To Use

All ancillary equipment supplied by SafeStand® Ltd compliments the high quality standards required of SafeStand® Access Systems e.g. Scaffold Boards are “Kitemarked” 1.5m span Boards.
Whilst ladders are currently the norm in terms of accessing the working platform, SafeStand® have developed their own unique staircase system for use with the 1200 system.
