The Olympic Torch Relay Reaches Wembley
25/07/2012 – The Olympic Torch Relay arrived at Wembley today creating a carnival atmosphere amongst the locals and drawing huge crowds from homes and offices in the locality. The legendary Gordon Banks was cheered by the huge crowds as he ran with the flame outside Wembley Stadium, scene of England’s 1966 World Cup victory, on the 68th day of the torch relay.
