Milton Keynes College Training Day

16th August 2019

Following on from the onsite presentation to apprentices and Steve Sherwood of Milton Keynes College, which we carried out in June at the McAleer and Rushe site in Avery Boulevard in Milton Keynes, we had the pleasure of spending the day at the Milton Keynes College, Woughton Campus with the Brickwork and Painting & Decorating tutors and technicians.
Many thanks to Steve Sherwood, Alfie Del Basso, Tony Rice, Ben Walker and Jordan Maxey for the invitation and for the time they dedicated to this. The team spent the day being shown how to erect the SafeStand® Systems to give themselves a better understanding of how SafeStand® equipment works. When working with groups who have never used the systems before, it is extremely rewarding when people realise how simple it is to turn a few stands and a pallet of components into a useable, safe, working platform, that is fit for purpose.

See above: Tutors and Technicians on SafeStand® 1200 System at a platform height of 2200mm and using a staircase for accessing the system.

Going forward, when the new intake of students arrive in September, we plan to return to the college and carry out similar training days for them.
